Happy Dhanteras!!!
On Dhanteras, Lakshmi - the Goddess of wealth - is worshiped to provide prosperity and well being. It is also the day for celebrating wealth, as the word 'Dhan' literally means wealth and 'Teras' comes from the date 13th (trayodashi in Sanskrit and Teras in Hindi). In the evening, the lamp is lit and Dhan-Lakshmi is welcomed into the house. Alpana or Rangoli designs are drawn on pathways including the goddess' footprints to mark the arrival of Lakshmi.
Dhanteras holds special significance for the business community due to the customary purchases of precious metals on this day.Lord Kubera, the God of assets and wealth is also worshiped on this day.
On Dhanteras Hindus consider it auspicious to purchase gold or silver articles or at least one or two new utensils. It is believed that new“Dhan” or some form of precious metal is a sign of good luck. "Lakshmi Puja" is performed in the evenings when tiny Diyas of clay are lit to drive away the shadows of evil spirits. "Bhajans", devotional songs in praise of Goddess Lakshmi, are also sung. Lamps are kept burning all through the night.
According to a popular legend, when the Gods and demons churned the ocean for Amrita or nectar, Dhanvantari (the physician of the Gods and an incarnation of Vishnu) emerged carrying a jar of the elixir on the day of Dhanteras.

Praise of the Father: The Mother and Father...the Supreme Father the Supreme Soul...the Teacher... the Satguru...
Knowledge: People sing: You are the Mother and Father and we are Your children. So, first of all, God is the Father of all. Secondly, all among us are brothers and sisters. Thirdly, the Father must definitely have created the world. We were His children and we have now become that once again. After completing the cycle of 84 births, we now belong to the Mother and Father.
Yoga: Grind your own ingredients and your intoxication will rise. “अपनी घोटतो नशा चढ़े” To grind your own ingredients means not to let your intellect's yoga wander here and there, but to remember the one Father. If only the one Father remains in your intellect, your intoxication can rise. If you stay in yoga, then pain would lessen. Remember the Father and remain in happiness.
In order to save yourself from Maya, the ghost, remain engaged in
knowledge and yoga. Experiment with the power of silence on your body, mind and sanskars and become an embodiment of success. Become a lamp of the clan and glorify the name of the Brahmin clan with the light of your awareness.
Dharna: The new world was established through Brahma. It is now the end of the Iron Age and we are establishing the golden age once again. This has to be imbibed by the intellect. Pay full attention to the study and claim your inheritance from the Father. Knowledge is very easy.
Like Krishna, become full of all virtues, sixteen celestial degrees full, completely vice less, the most elevated human beings following the highest codes of conduct and doubly non-violent...
Break the consciousness of the body. Renounce the evil spirit of attachment and show the Father. You have to make effort to claim your full inheritance from the Father. If you don't claim it now you, will miss it every cycle. You won't be able to claim such a high status. It is a deal for birth after birth. Therefore, you have to follow shrimat! You will become instruments every cycle. Under no circumstances should you lose this chance every cycle.
When you live at home with your family as brothers and sisters, you would surely remain pure. It is very easy.
Service: Become nightingales of knowledge ज्ञानबुलबुल and continue to chirp the knowledge टिकलू-टिकलू throughout the day and you win be able to show (reveal) your physical and spiritual mothers and fathers. So, chirp knowledge.

ज्ञान : तुम मात-पिता हम बालक तेरे....तो पहला – ईश्वर सबका फादर ठहरा | दूसरा – आपस में सब भाई-बहन हो गये | तीसरा– ज़रूरबापनेसृष्टिरचीहोगी| हम बालक थे अब फिर बने हैं | 84 जन्मों का चक्र पूरा होने के बाद फिर अब मात-पिता के बने हैं |
योग : “अपनी घोट तो नशा चढ़े”... अपनीघोटना अर्थात् बुद्धियोग इधर-उधर न भटकाकरएक बाप को याद करना | एक बाप बुद्धि में याद रहे तो नशा चढ़े | योगमें रहें तो दर्द भी कम हो जाए | बाप को याद कर बहुत ख़ुशी में रहना है |

Essence: Sweet children, become nightingales of knowledge and continue to chirp the knowledge throughout the day and you will be able to show (reveal) your physical and spiritual mothers and fathers.
Question: It is said: Grind your own ingredients and your intoxication will rise. What is the meaning of this?
Answer: To grind your own ingredients means not to let your intellect’s yoga wander here and there, but to remember the one Father. If only the one Father remains in your intellect, your intoxication can rise. However, body consciousness causes a lot of obstacles in this. When some are even a little ill, they become distressed. They begin to remember their friends and relatives and this is why their intoxication doesn’t rise. If they were to stay in yoga, their pain would lessen.

Essence for dharna:

With the power of silence, the suffering of karma, the severe bondages of karma, will be experienced as a line on water. Experiment with the power of silence on your body, mind and sanskars and become an embodiment of success.

मुरली सार:- "मीठे बच्चे - ज्ञान की बुलबुल बन सारा दिन ज्ञान की टिकलू-टिकलू करते रहो तो लौकिक और पारलौकिक मात-पिता का शो कर सकेंगे''
प्रश्न:- कहावत है - "अपनी घोट तो नशा चढ़े'' इसका भावार्थ क्या है?
उत्तर:-अपनी घोटना अर्थात् बुद्धियोग इधर-उधर न भटकाकर एक बाप को याद करना। एक बाप बुद्धि में याद रहे तो नशा चढ़े। परन्तु इसमें देह-अभिमान बहुत विघ्न डालता है। थोड़ी-सी बीमारी हुई तो परेशान हो जाते हैं, मित्र-सम्बन्धी याद पड़ते हैं, इसलिए नशा नहीं चढ़ता। योग में रहें तो दर्द भी कम हो जाए।

धारणा के लिए मुख्य सार:- 1) स्वंय को माया घोस्ट से बचाने के लिए ज्ञान-योग में तत्पर रहना है। मोह रूपी भूत का त्याग कर बाप का शो करना है। ज्ञान की टिकलू-टिकलू करनी है।
